I Want To Change The world

There are many people talking about changing the world but it is impossible. They may talk just a minute but then they won’t get involve on that. It is not i am a pessimistic person. The person who said about change he/ she himself changed in their life in many ways. within a fraction of minute so many changes happening we couldn’t stop. so for me changing will come only after the disaster of this world otherwise it won’t/...

i want to change the world like everyone does. i want save those in poverty and make them regain their rights. i don't think we are better then them just because we live in fancy houses like some people do. i want to rid the people of the world who harm civilians under the name of religion and help. i want everyone in this world to have a memorable lifetime and to be proud to live rather then struggle through it waiting for death. i want to look at my world in my dying breath and be proud of it and not to see violence and poverty but freedom of thought and body.

I look around my people and see tears streaming down the eyes of many
I look at the Palestine child and though there may be external smiles… I see a more deep feeling inside
I turn my head in another direction and I see refugees…I see those who hunger and thirst
I see my fellow men who have nothing to eat neither drink…Engulfed completely by poverty
My heart is pained and my strength begins to fail me
I feel the pain of those who beg on the streets and yet, get nothing to go home with
I feel the pain of those who get treated unjustly, those who get punished for crimes they didn’t commit
Those who seem to have what it takes to be there yet do not have that one person or that one thing to turn things around
Those who cry day after day and night after night
Those who feel they have no reason to live, no reason to live life to the fullest
Those who have never heard the true sound of laughter nor really felt the aura of joy
Those who have lost hope in HOPE
People who have lost everything that ever mattered to them…those who have been drained from within
........I feel their pain
I look at myself and right beside me is my fellow man begging for alms under the sun
Suddenly, all my wealth,my achievements,my successes disgust me…and all I own loses it’s value
I actually own nothing.
I vow to all who get bruised by harsh actions,injustice,poverty,diseases…...
Till I can no longer think for myself, I’ll keep turning the steering wheel right round…
And I can’t do it on my own… Almighty one, be infront of me to lead me
Behind me to guide me, beside me to accompany me, and within me to fill me with what I need to carry on.

~if today was my Last day~

Assalamualaikum and greetings to everyone, My name is Nurul Aini Binti Sahardin. Today I wish to convey title if today is my last day. When you talk only about this topic, we must wonder what will we do and what will happen to us if this happens. I will share all, if today is my last day of what I do.

First of all, what would I have to do is to apologize to all my contacts, family members and all I know. I may have hurt their heart or their feelings throughout my Offensive with them.

Second, I will be obedient children once my parents. Throughout my life with my family, I always default on the order of the parents. Sometimes I would fight their speech that they offended by my actions. Although I do a lot of offense to them, I hope they forgive me. I hope that day I could perform my duty well as a son to them. At least, at the time they are happy with me.

Finally, I will do the prayer of repentance, tahjud and all the commands of Allah SWT. As a slave, I spend a lot of crime and the default order. I hope God will forgive me and put me among the servants who Soleha nearby. After three things I can do on the last day of my life. I accept if this is my final day.

~iF tODAy iS mY laST dAy~

ASSALAMUALAIKUM W.B.T

As the title given to me "if today is my last day", it is right to the situation now, where we just finished celebrating the eid fitri celebration. There may be some of us have visit beloved person those who have leave before us. These necessarily remind us about how short our life is. Since everyone will go one day, it is compulsory to us to keep remind about our death. If today is my last day, there is no way to redo whatever I've done, but in the here and now I can do things right. I will try to become the best child to my parent, a good sister to my siblings and being the best to all around me. I will try forgiving and forgetting and letting go of the past so I can be sure if my life soon comes to an end the memory I lived and the love I gave will be enough to last. I'm trying to say all the things I've always wanted to say a and giving kindness to everyone. If I know today is my last day, I’ll told everyone I love how much they mean in every way and telling them all just knowing them means so much. As a Muslim, I want to be a true Muslim with done the rituals of circumcision, such as charitable donations as much as I can and so will I do as well as practices such as prayers and the prayers of repentance tahjud that I must not be neglected. If this is my last day in this world, I've forgiven everyone every single wrong to another. Indeed human sin will not be removed if we do not apologize publicly. That’s all from me.

Salam to everybody

Ten Tips to Get Unstuck and Moving Forward By ~شمسول بن مختار~

"Around here we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things". – Walt Disney

Life can hit hard. Sometimes you get knocked down when you don’t even see it coming. Some are cheap shots, some are glancing blows and some can bring you to your knees. When this happens, it’s not about how hard you get hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit, but still find the strength to keep moving forward. It’s about having the will to continue in spite of the obstacles.

What’s holding you back? A relationship breakup, job stress, or health issue can stop you from moving forward in life…but there are ways to get unstuck! These ten tips for succeeding despite yourself are inspired by quotations from one of the most successful businesswomen in America: Mary Kay Ash, founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics.
“Don’t limit yourself,” said Mary Kay Ash. “Many women limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.”
What you think you can do — what you focus on — will become reality! You don’t need special equipment or a lot of money to succeed in life…but you do need some basic tools. Read Simple Acts of Moving Forward: 60 Suggestions for Getting Unstuck for practical ways to let go of whatever is holding you back. And, check out these ten ways to get unstuck…
10 Ways to Get Unstuck and Move Forward – Mary Kay Ash
1. Figure out what’s holding you backMaybe you’re depressed because of a business failure, health issue, financial problem, or relationship breakup. Or, maybe you can’t seem to improve your self-confidence or maintain a happy, positive mood.  The first step to lgetting unstuck is to identify what’s stopping you from moving forward.
2. Be objective about sources and solutions. Whatever the source of your rut is,remember that there are ways to overcome it! Different problems have different solutions, but there are some general rules for getting unstuck. For instance, don’t focus on what you lack (eg, someone to love, or a business of your own). Instead, focus on what you want more of in your life (love, success, acceptance, freedom). Be specific about what you want, and try not to get caught up in negative or critical emotions. Take a step back and look at your life with objective eyes.
3. Look for the possibilities in your problems. In Outliers: The Story of Success, Malcolm Gladwell writes, “Sometimes constraints actually create success. Not being able to swim made me run. And running taught me the discipline I needed as a writer.” What are you learning from the obstacles in your life? Are your problems — job stress, relationship breakups – leading you in an unexpected direction? The sooner you accept the lessons, the faster you’ll overcome your obstacles and move forward in life.
4. Work with your personal advantages. I’m a big fan of “to do” lists and I love checking off each task when I accomplish it. That’s one of my personal advantages, and I use it to make my business successful. For instance, one of my goals is to earn $50,000 a year as a blogger. Part of achieving that goal involves writing two blog posts a day. To stay motivated to write every day, I make a list of the blog posts I need to write at the beginning of each week…and the satisfaction of checking off those “articles to write” makes me feel happy and motivated enough to do it again and again and again! What are your strengths or personal advantages? Put them to work for you.

5. Ask for help moving forward in life. What do you need to do to get unstuck? Ask your family, friends, and colleagues for help. Do you need financial advice? Time? Resources? Motivation? Support? Be specific about what you need, identify who can help you, and be clear about what you’d like them to do. Mary Kay Ash said, “Honesty is the cornerstone of all success, without which confidence and ability to perform shall cease to exist.” Be honest about what you need.

6. Surround yourself with successful women. Who do you admire? Which family member, friend, or colleague is in the position you’d like to be in? To soak up the habits of highly succesful women, stay connected to women who achieved their goals — even if you don’t know them personally, even if they aren’t alive! The attitudes, values, habits, and thoughts of women who soar will rub off on you. Also, stay away from people who hold you back or aren’t supportive.
7. Focus on one step at a time. If your number one goal is to start your own homebased business, don’t move towards a competing goal. For instance, you can’t put all your energy towards working from home while you’re planning a vacation that involves traveling around the world for a year! You can’t move ahead in two directions at once. Focus on “unsticking yourself” from one thing at a time. “So many women just don’t know how great they really are,” said Mary Kay Ash. “They come to us all vogue outside and vague on the inside.” Be concrete and specific about what you want out of life, and how you’ll get it.
8. Expect to do a little work. Bill Gates programmed computers at university for 10,000 hours before he started his own company. Gates is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in recent history (perhaps of all time) — but he spent10,000 hours practicing before he took the leap! That’s 416 days of working around the clock. This tip for letting go of what’s holding you back is from Malcolm Gladwell’sOutliers, and involves practicing your craft. “…[successful people]…simply put in more hours than anyone else,” writes Gladwell.
9. Stay  connected to yourself. No matter how you’re planning on getting unstuck, stay open to revising as you go. For instance, you may decide to stop focusing on moving forward in your relationship, and start focusing on moving ahead in your career. That’s okay! Take your nose off the grindstone every so often…look around…and make sure you’re still on the right track. Let yourself make revisions whenever you need.
10. Help other women move forward their lives. When you encourage, educate, and connect with other women, you increase your own dedication, determination, and self-discipline! You feel good about yourself, which increases your motivation and gives you the self-confidence you need to move forward in lifeIt feels great to help women move towards their dreams, and it’s good karma!
“Those who are blessed with the most talent don’t necessarily outperform everyone else,” said Mary Kay Ash. “It’s the women with follow-through who excel.”

The Importance of Being Earnest

To be successful in business, you need to have a serious attitude and a keen interest and high self-esteem "

1) You must have a serious attitude.
• Attitudes to strive earnestly to do a job is a good attitude. Someone who wants to be an entrepreneur must have the interest, desire and passion to the high and unwavering. Without these elements, perhaps success is not expected to be achieved.

For example, if a person gets promoted to 'A' in the exam does not mean he will get 'A' in all things. If we see a successful entrepreneur, may they not of those who get promoted to 'A' in the examination. But they are comprised of people who love to take risks and will do anything to survive. They learn from experience and take risks. Without a strong interest in, dedication, patience and piety, entrepreneurs will not have success.

2) You must have self-confidence.
• In addition to the interest and enthusiasm, creativity and also be there in person. It must be nurtured with a responsible attitude, a spirit of determination, strong faith and open-minded and positive. Entrepreneu rs are a special person, they were the brave and willing to face the hardships faced challenging business world. Thus, an entrepreneur should not hesitate to make a decision when managing a business. What is important, there should be coherence in decision-making to ensure the integrity of the business. Every decision made has the potential risks faced, but not too thinks. Entrepreneurs have to deal with it and it's up to yourself how to solve them.

3) Manage the organization and operations is essential.
• Manage the organization and operation of the important things that need to be given special attention. For example, the management of cash flow (cash flow) is important because it symbolized as the nucleus of the human body. If cash flow is not managed in a sound, the company will become chaotic and eventually collapse. Thus, each entrepreneur must ensure that the cash flow they are in a solid.

4) Respect must be given and not asked.
• An entrepreneur needs to know in detail about the affairs of running their business. This can be achieved if they had knowledge and experience as both are essential to put an entrepreneur at a higher level of its employees and competitors. According to him, respect must be given and not asked, and entrepreneurs will only get it through science. If knowledge is not available here, the entrepreneur must try to find another place or get it from people who are more experienced.

5) Learn what to do about how to manage business operations.
• Focus on how a business should be conducted. Entrepreneurs need to define the mission and vision of themselves and their company. Preferred to focus on how to handle a business problem that arises. Do not be optimistic to something you like but learn about all the things to take care of business with excellence.

6) Learn from mistakes.
• There are no perfect people in this world. Errors that arise to teach people to improve themselves in order to develop a weakness of our mind to be more creative in solving problems. Make a 'post mortem', experimental error has occurred and do not repeat the mistake. In addition, attitudes need to set aside ego and acknowledge that mistakes have occurred. If errors are not corrected and then repeated, can not be sure of success will be achieved.

7) Be a responsible leader.
• Make YAB Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed, former Prime Minister of Malaysia as a respected mentor to us. A leader must have a good image to be respected by those leaders and their competitors. A leader must also have extensive knowledge and experience of management and operations of the company and its competitors. All this is necessary for someone to achieve success in business, God Willing.

Memories In Ramadhan..

Ramadhan is synonymous with a variety of delicacies. With that comes the name of the food delicacies from all corners of the region, this makes me miss the atmosphere of Bazar Ramadhan in the birth state of Kelantan. But I had to forget for a moment I wish that when you are here, which is in Johor. There is no doubt all the food here food different from my birth state.

Among the most favorite cake in Kelantan I like is akok, lompat tikam, jala emas, agar-agar, puding, buah tanjung, cendol, locong, kerabu sarae, koleh, chara berinti, tepung serunai, tepung pelita and more.

From the first day until the 5th day of fasting here with friends from Kelantan, I have not noticed yet is among the vendors who sell snacks in Bazar Ramadhan favorite that I have. The only normal I see is just agar-agar, even then it's not pleasant add-in, it kind of elastic rubber eraser. Comes to mind when I enjoy the cake, who knows how it is that sells uniforms that do not directly feel satisfaction for buyers like me just to be able to profit only.

From the experience of working overseas is fasting, I am grateful to dawn meal and break their fast with friends from Kelantan. Every time a time for breaking fast, this is a spirit of prayer for us to undergo fasting. "O Allah, Bless our sustenance, have mercy on ourselves and make us grateful slave."

So far the only story I would like to share this time. Thank You.
Salam Ramadhan Al-Mubarak.

COURTESY IS ALL THAT MATTER

Courtesy to many people means being polite to others such as greeting others and saying ‘thank you’. Howewer . to me, it covers a wider spectrum that involves being considerate to others in all situations and circumstances.

It does not matter whether one is at a formal party where social graces reign or at home where true colours show themselves. Netheir does it matter whether the other person is rich or poor. It should be such an integral part of us that we naturally behave courteously.

A simple example is when boarding the bus. Do we line up?? Do we give up our seats to the elderly?? Do we help someone who is overloaded to the hilt to board the bus??

Thus, we may say that courtesy shows how we truly regard others. In other word, it shows whether we respect others enough to be caring. If the government were serious abaout having a caring society, educating, the public to be courteous is definitely a beginning worthy of thought and action.

Honesty Is The Best Policy

This is an old and often repeated proverb, but it is true? It has a suspiciously worldly flavor, for it means that from a worldly point of view it pays to have honesty. Now a man of complete honesty will not ask whether honesty pays or not. He feels he must be honest, even if honesty brings him loss or suffering, simply because it is right to be honest and wrong to be dishonest. This proverb is therefore of little use to people of sincere honesty: it is really meant only for those unprincipled men who will be honest only if honesty pays, and will be dishonest if they think honesty will pay them worse.

Probably honesty does pay in the long run. In business, for example, a man who deals straight forwardly with the pubic, who sells at fair prices, who gives good quality, and can be relied upon not to cheat, will generally establish a reputation that will be a fine business asset. People will be glad to deal with him; and though he may not make a fortune he will have a sound and satisfactory business.

On the other hand, there is no doubt that success is often due to trickery, and great fortunes have been built up upon dishonesty. Too many successful rogues have proved by experience that for them dishonesty had been the best policy. Of course some of these people come to a bad end, and lose all they have gained by their lies; but many maintain their worldly success is more due to ability, lucky opportunities, and business cunning, than to honesty.

And many examples could be given of men who, from a worldly point of view, have failed because they have scrupulous honesty. A martyr who prefers to be burned at the stake rather than say what he believes to be false, may be a hero; but in the eyes of a worldly man, who thinks only of worldly success, he is a sad failure.

But if we look at such cases from the spiritual point of view – if we consider that truth and righteousness are far more important than wealth and rank and prosperity – then, in the highest sense, honesty is the best policy in the end. “For what it shall profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul?”

Wake up.. It's time for Tahajud.. ;) by شمسول بن مختار

There is a time of night when the whole world transforms.. During the day, chaos often takes over our lives. The responsibilities of work, school, and family dominate much of our attention. Other than the time we take for the five daily prayers, it is hard to also take time out to reflect or even relax. Many of us live our lives at such a fast pace, we may not even realize what we’re missing..

But there is a time of night when work ends, traffic sleeps, and silence is the only sound. At that time—while the world around us sleeps—there is One who remains awake and waits for us to call on Him.

We are told in the hadith qudsi: “Our Lord descends during the last third of each night to the lower heaven, and says: ‘Is there anyone who calls on Me that I may respond to him? Is there anyone who asks Me that I may give unto him? Is there anyone who requests My Forgiveness that I may forgive him?’ -Bukhari and Muslim

One can only imagine what would happen if a king were to come to our door, offering to give us anything we want. One would think that any sane person would at least set their alarm for such a meeting. If we were told that at exactly one hour before dawn a check for $10,000,000 would be left at our doorstep, would we not wake up to take it?

ALLAH swt has told us that at this time of night, just before dawn, He will come to His servants. Imagine this. The Lord of the universe has offered us a sacred conversation with Him. That Lord waits for us to come speak with Him, and yet many of us leave Him waiting while we sleep in our beds. ALLAH swt comes to us and asks what we want from Him. The Creator of all things has told us that He will give us whatever we ask..

And yet we sleep..

There will come a day when this veil of deception will be lifted.

You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp.(Qaaf:22)

On that Day, we will see the true reality. On that Day, we will realize that two raakat of prayer were greater than everything in the heavens and the earth. We will realize the priceless check that was left on our doorstep every night as we slept. There will come a day when we would give up everything under the sky just to come back and pray those two raakat..

There will come a day when we would give up everything we ever loved in this life, everything that preoccupied our hearts and minds, every mirage we ran after, just to have that conversation with ALLAH. But on that Day, there will be some from whom ALLAH swt will turn away.. and forget, as they had once forgotten Him..

He will say, ‘My Lord, why have you raised me blind while I was (once) seeing?’ ALLAH will say, ‘Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten. (Thaahaa:125-126)

Do not cry out today. Indeed, by Us you will not be helped. (Al-Mu'minuun: 65)

Can you imagine for a moment what these ayat (verses) are saying? This is not about being forgotten by an old friend or classmate. This is about being forgotten by the Lord of the worlds. Not hellfire. Not boiling water. Not scalded skin. There is no punishment greater than this..

And as there is no punishment greater than this, there is no reward greater than what the Prophet saw describes in the following hadith:

“When those deserving of Paradise would enter Paradise, the Blessed and the Exalted would ask: Do you wish Me to give you anything more? They would say: Hast Thou not brightened our faces? Hast Thou not made us enter Paradise and saved us from Fire? He would lift the veil, and of things given to them nothing would be dearer to them than the sight of their Lord, the Mighty and the Glorious.” -Sahih Muslim

But one does not need to wait until that Day to know the result of this nighttime meeting with ALLAH swt. The truth is, there are no words to describe the overwhelming peace in this life from such a conversation. One can only experience it to know. Its effect on one’s life is immeasurable. When you experience qiyam, the late night prayer the rest of your life transforms. Suddenly, the burdens that once crushed you become light. The problems that were irresolvable become solved. And that closeness to your Creator, which was once unreachable, becomes your only lifeline..

The Carrot, The Egg or The Coffee Bean? by شمسول بن مختار

Put 3 pots of water over the fire.
In the 1st pot, put some carrots.
In the 2nd pot, put some eggs.
In the 3rd pot, put some coffee beans that have been grounded into coffee powder.
Boil all 3 pots for 15 minutes. Take out what you put in..

The carrot - went in hard - they are now soft..
The eggs - went in soft inside - now they are hard inside..
The coffee powder has disappeared - but the water has the color and the wonderful smell of coffee..

Now.. think about life..
* Life is not always easy
* Life is not always comfortable
* Sometimes life is very hard

Things don't happen like we wish..
People don't treat us like we hope..
We work very hard but get few results..
What happens when we face difficulties?

Now.. think about the pots..
The boiling water is like the problems of life..

We can be like the carrots - we go in tough and strong - we come out soft and weak.
We get very tired - we lose hope - we give up..
There is no more fighting spirit..
Don't be like the carrots!

We can be like the eggs - we start with a soft and sensitive heart - we end up very hard and unfeeling inside.
We hate others - we don't like ourselves - we become hard-hearted..
There is no warm feeling, only bitterness..
Don't be like the eggs!

We can be like the coffee beans - the water does not change the coffee powder - the coffee powder changes the water!
The water has become different because of the coffee powder - See it. Smell it. Drink it. - The hotter the water, the better the taste.
We make something good from the difficulties - we face - we learn new things - we have new knowledge, new skills, new abilities - we grow in experience - we make the world around us better!

To succeed, we must try.. and try again..
We must believe in what we are doing..
We must not give up..
We must be patience..
We must keep pushing..

Problems and difficulties give us the chance to become stronger.. and better.. and even tougher..

What are we like when things do not go well?
Are we like the carrot.. the egg.. or the coffee bean?

Be like the coffee bean! :)

HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY

Do you think that “Honesty is the best policy”?

I agree with the statement honesty is the best policy. Everyone, to succeed in his or her life, should follow it. Though we can make money by improper ways, it would not give us good status in society. I believe that honesty is important for both personal life and business life. As we go through the history of the great leaders, they all succeed in their life mainly by their life style. They all followed the truth and honesty. Honesty is very important in many aspects of our life. If we are honest, everyone will believe us.

Living in the world these days is really hard. People are not honest with each other and not being honest always causes problems that sometimes leads to someone getting hurt emotionally or physically. It seems that in everyday life there is something someone can always lie about. In my opinion I think lying is wrong and should always tell the truth. Because everyone you come to talk to will trust you, if you do lie the truth will eventually come out, and if you do not lie you will have a clean conscious.

If you do not lie it will be a big advantage to you. Everyone you come to talk to or you know will trust you because they now that your not a liar. You will have good friends and a great job. Like my oldest sister graduated from college. She never lies and she has a great job and she’s someone you can trust. People these days no matter what business they own want to hire honest people, people they can trust and that can work hard.

If you think about it lying does not do you or anyone any good. It does not solve anything. Maybe at first if you are a good liar it will, but eventually the trust will come out. When the truth does come out things get bad and problems start to happen. People sometimes get hurt emotionally and physically. For example, if a couple breaks up people sometimes may be fired if it has anything to do with their work, or you can even loose a good friend. You see this all the time in talk shows. Were people come out telling the truth to someone about something they lied about. Then the other people end up getting hurt. It is not worth loosing anything over a lie.

The most important reason why I think people should always tell the truth is so that you can have a clean conscious. If you lie eventually its gonna get to your conscious. You will be thinking about the lie and about getting caught. Having a clean conscious is the best thing, you can have. It makes you fell good and you do not have anything to worry about. For Example Bill Clinton when the scandal came out about him and Monica he denied everything. But then with the pressure of the press and his wife he came out with the truth. It was probably the only thing he was thinking about and couldn’t concentrate on other things. So if you have a clear conscious you are more comfutureble with your self and around others.

People may disagree with me and say it is o.k. To lie when it is appropriate, but who can actually decide what is appropriate or not. People can always be saying to themselves that it’s appropriate on anything they want to lie about. Some people may say that it is o.k. To lie so they will not hurt someone they love, but if they did not want to hurt this person they would not have said or done anything that would lead this person to lie. Finally, another thing people might say its o.k. lie if it’s a small lie that wont hurt any one, but what I think is that if you think it’s a small lie then why lie about it. There is no need for it.

Living in the world these days it is hard enough with out having to lie all the time. If people were honest, we would not have so many problems. It does not pay to lie because although you might not get caught your conscious will eventually get to you. There is nothing like honesty and as the saying goes honesty is the best policy.

****DIET DURING RAMADHAN****

According to Sunna (the practices of Prophet Muhammad, Pbuh) and research findings referred in this report, a dietary plan is given:

1. Bread/Cereal/Rice, Pasta, Biscuits and Cracker Group: 6-11 servings/day; 2. Meat/Beans/ Nut Group: 2-3 servings/day. 3. Milk and Milk Product Group: 2-3 servings/day. 4. Vegetable Group: 3-5 servings/day; 5. Fruit Group: 2-4 servings/day. 6. Added sugar (table sugar, sucrose): sparingly. 7. Added fat, polyunsaturated oil 4-7 table spoons.

Breakfast, iftar:

Dates, three

Juice, 1 serving (4 oz.)

Vegetable soup with some pasta or graham crackers, 1 cup

The body's immediate need at the time of iftar is to get an easily available energy source in the form of glucose for every living cell, particularly the brain and nerve cells. Dates and juices are good sources of sugars. Dates and juice in the above quantity are sufficient to bring low blood glucose levels to normal levels. Juice and soup help maintain water and mineral balance in the body. An unbalanced diet and too many servings of sherbets and sweets with added sugar have been found to be unhealthy, Gumma et al. (7).

 Dinner:

Consume foods from all the following food groups:

Meat/Bean Group: Chicken, beef, lamb, goat, fish, 1-2 servings (serving size = a slice =1 oz); green pea, chickpea (garbanzo, chana, humus), green gram, black gram, lentil, lima bean and other beans, 1 serving (half cup). Meat and beans are a good source of protein, minerals, and certain vitamins. Beans are a good source of dietary fiber, as well.

Bread/Cereal Group: Whole wheat bread, 2 servings (serving size = 1 oz) or cooked rice, one cup or combination. This group is a good source of complex carbohydrates, which are a good source of energy and provide some protein, minerals, and dietary fiber.

Milk Group: milk or butter-milk (lassi without sugar), yogurt or cottage cheese (one cup). Those who can not tolerate whole milk must try fermented products such as butter-milk and yogurt. Milk and dairy products are good sources of protein and calcium, which are essential for body tissue maintenance and several physiological functions.

Vegetable Group: Mixed vegetable salad, 1 serving (one cup), (lettuce, carrot, parsley, cucumber, broccoli, coriander leaves, cauliflower or other vegetables as desired.) Add 2 teaspoons of olive oil or any polyunsaturated oil and 2 spoons of vinegar. Polyunsaturated fat provides the body with essential fatty acids and keto acids. Cooked vegetables such as guar beans, French beans, okra (bhindi), eggplant (baigan), bottle gourd (loki), cabbage, spinach, 1 serving (4 oz). Vegetables are a good source of dietary fiber, vitamin A, carotene, lycopenes, and other phytochemicals, which are antioxidants. These are helpful in the prevention of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and many other health problems.

Fruits Group: 1-2 servings of citrus and/or other fruits. Eat fruits as the last item of the dinner or soon after dinner, to facilitate digestion and prevent many gastrointestinal problems. Citrus fruits provide vitamin C. Fruits are a good source of dietary fiber.

Fruits and mixed nuts may be eaten as a snack after dinner or tarawiaha or before sleep.

Pre-dawn Meal (sahur):

Consume a light sahur. Eat whole wheat or oat cereal or whole wheat bread, 1-2 serving with a cup of milk. Add 2-3 teaspoons of olive oil or any other monounsaturated or polyunsaturated fats in a salad or the cereal. Eat 1-2 servings of fruits, as a last item.

9 Ways to Keep Moving Forward in Life

Forget Regret
Leave your mistakes and regret in the past. They don’t define your value, then or now. When you stay in the past you become stuck and unable to move forward. We all have made mistakes with our job choices, friends and relationships. The consequences can hit us pretty hard. However, to begin learning how to put these experiences behind us – by letting them go, we can begin to live in the here and now. Give yourself the gift of forgiveness and keep moving forward.

Learn from Failure
Learning from failure and having regret are two separate things. Regret is an emotion; a feeling of disappointment along with a modest amount of shame or guilt. But to look back at a circumstance and figure out what went wrong gives you some very important information. This review allows you to evaluate what worked and what didn’t, and more importantly, why. Often when you are removed from a situation, you can look at it more objectively which will allow you to make better choices to keep moving forward.

Ask for Help
You are not alone. It may feel that way sometimes, but there are many people who would extend their hand and lift you up if asked. All you have to do is ask. Consider co-workers, neighbors, or your church. Often times we are afraid to ask because we don’t believe we are worthy to receive the help. Think about this: we are surrounded by millions and millions of people by design – for a purpose. A hand to grasp, a shoulder to cling, and a face to radiate hope can help you to keep moving forward.

Believe You are Worthy
Whatever your goal, your dream, or your desire, you are worthy of achieving it. The closer you get to it is when the enemy of you soul will begin putting doubt in your mind by playing the self-limiting tapes that say you are not worthy. Replace these old tapes with a newer one that contains the truth – you are worthy to have your heart’s true desire and to keep moving forward.

Take 100% Responsibility
Except in rare and unfortunate circumstances, you are responsible for the quality and condition of your life. Your career, your relationships and your happiness are all under your direct control. Sometimes we choose to do nothing when we get hit hard because it’s just easier and less painful that way. But the real pain is only deferred. You have to live with yourself. You have to live with the voice in your gut, your inner wisdom, that says you gave up too soon or didn’t try hard enough. When you hear this inner voice speaking to you, it’s usually right. It’s your choice, then, to get up and keep moving forward.

Know What You Want
This isn’t about the how, only the what. In order to move forward in life, you need a firm foundation to step from. Understanding what and where you want to go in life will provide your vision and spirit – your foundation. The how will figure itself out when you know you want to keep moving forward.

Trust
There are no accidents without value. When you get hit hard and land on your back, look for the reasons and for the value in this. Open your heart and trust this happened for a reason. Perhaps it was to test your determination or to alert you to the fact you were on the wrong path. Either way, trust the experience is happening for a reason and be open to making adjustments in order to keep moving forward.

Want it More
How badly do you want it? How badly do you really want to achieve what you are working so hard to accomplish? When you get hit hard, you have an opportunity to answer this question. It’s one thing to say you want to do something, or to be something. But to walk through the pain; to get up and keep moving forward knowing there may be more pain ahead, is a test of your determination and resolve. When you find yourself getting back on your feet, you have indeed answered this question and there’s no doubt you will keep moving forward.

Keep the Faith
Faith: A strong belief in something without proof or evidence
At the end of the day when you are weary from all of the effort and energy you have expended and you are sore and tired from being hit hard so many times, but the dream is not realized, the one thing that tells you to keep going; to get up tomorrow and to keep moving forward, is your faith. Honor this and cherish it. Faith is what makes you human. It gives you energy and hope. And if you let it, your faith will deliver you to wherever you want to go in life.

F!EyZa DeRaN!.....=)

"SALAM RAMADHAN AL-MUBARAK"

My unforgettable memory in my life is celebrating my first Ramadhan without my family. For your information, now I’m continuing my study in Diploma Executive of Building Constructional Technology at Universiti Tun Hussien Onn Malaysia. Unfortunately, this is my first time far away from my family.

Be in this situation was much difficult and sadness to me without the voice of my parents and sibling. Previously, them always make me laugh and happy. We always preparing for the “berbuka” together. Sometimes, we make a fun while cooking or preparing. Every evening, my mother will ask us what to cook and she’s always cooked our favorite dishes.

But today, this entire thing becomes my sadness days. I just remember and imagine all the memories in my mind. Sometimes, I’ll cry alone but luckily my friends always make me happy.

'THANKS FOR ALL MY FRIENDS'
